Legally livestream your ensemble’s performance to a worldwide audience.

• Show off your ensemble to music educators around the world.

• Incentivise your students to be their very best

• Create an unforgettable experience that educates and inspires, without the expense of travel

• Utilize your techological resources and push the boundaries of what’s possible

Here’s How it Works….

1. Submit Your Audition

Create a video that shows us why your ensemble needs to be featured at this year’s International Music Education Summit: an un-edited demonstration of your ensemble’s prowess.

2. Get Selected

If your ensemble is selected, you’ll be provided with a list of approved literature, training on how to stream your live presentation using our online software, and a performance time slot during the Summit: June 13-15, 2019.

We’ll also add your ensemble’s bio to our website and announce that you were selected to our email list and social media followers.

We’re going to make you a big deal.

3. Prepare

Once you’ve selected your repertoire to showcase [from the approved list], prepare your ensemble to perform it at the highest level- this won’t just be live, but will be available after the event as well!

You’ll also make sure you have all of the tech requirements to ensure a great experience for all of your viewers around the world.

4. Practice

You’ll have the opportunity to do a ‘practice livestream’ prior to the performance. Think of this as a dress-rehearsal to ensure everything is working okay.

IMES management will be available to help you through the process and to troubleshoot any issues you may have.

Once we make sure everything is working okay…we’ll take the next step!

5. Promote Yourself

Now it’s time to brag! Share with your friends, colleagues, students’s parents, grandparents, and anyone else the world over.

They’ll all be able to watch the performance!

*As of January 2019, we are considering creating a paid ticket for those not attending the Summit….your non-educator audience. This paid ticket will be less than $5 and we intend to give a portion of these proceeds to your ensemble.

6. Perform

10 minutes before your performance time, you’ll be able to start your livestream for the online viewers.

Then just start on the downbeat like a traditional live performance!

Who this is for…

• Ensembles who are excited to launch into this new frontier of performance venues!

• Concert Bands, Choirs, Orchestras, World Music Ensembles, Chamber Groups, Jazz Bands…any ensemble we can secure performance rights to your literature.

• It doesn’t matter the size of your group, the size of your school, and only the publishers limitations are the limit of your location.

• Directors and Schools that want to make an impact, are forward-thinking, and ready to engage in this historic opportunity!
